"The purpose of this letter is to commend your service technician on his work. When explaining the problem to me and recommending a solution he was very knowledgeable and courteous. He promptly completed the job and left the area clean. He determined that my water heater will be 12 years old and advised me that the life span is approximately 10 to 12 years. To avoid any disastrous situations in the future he recommended my consideration of replacing it in the near future. He was polite and informative while discussing replacement of the water heater and at no point did he appear to pressure me into making an on-the-spot decision.
